Q
How do you save a picture in "Binary Format" as opposed to the (default) "Hexidecimal Format" in
RTF msword document

(ie When examining the underlying document RTF, the picture should be encoded something lik
\binXXXX ....

Any help on this greatly appreciated

G'day "Glen Chick" <[email protected]>,

RTF was designed to pass through ASCII systems that used ctrl chars to
control the xmit - thus data blocks were not allowed to contain chars
<32

This is a legacy requirement for the RTF spec.
