Hope this is the correct forum.
It has a log in the header. it is PNG or JPG and has been produced by
another app. It opens, renders, prints perfectly, but if it is saved,
it leaps from 30KB to 300 -> 500KB depending on the logo.
If I save-as it as a doc it goes back to a small file.
If I load it back up in the RTF application (WPTOOLS) and save it
again, it goes back to 30KB.
The WPTools author says it is because Word saves another copy of the
image as a bitmap.
Is there any way to stop this. We are looking at doing document runs
of 1500, which means disk storage is going to leap from 40MB to 750MB
per run and there may be a lot of runs.
TIA
Jason
