RTF Files

I have an RTF file that was created outside of Word and when I open it in
Word, the normal style for the text is set to the Calibri font and 1.5 line
spacing (which is the default for Word 2007).

My normal style is set to be Time New Roman and single spacing. I know I can
check the "automatically update document styles" checkbox and it will convert
to my normal style but is there any way else to handle this?

For example, in Wordpad, which is where the rtf file was created, is there
any way to specify that I want to use something other than Calibri as the
normal style? Where does it pull this style from?

Hmmm. When I open an RTF file created in WordPad it opens in the Normal
style with whatever font settings were default in WordPad - here Arial 10
point Regular - added. To remove the added font and restore the underlying
style select all CTRL+A then CTRL+Space. You could do that with vba if
necessary?
