RTF Table - wits' end

P

Peter Rabbit

Is anybody here au fait with RTF tables? I mean a table that doesn't cause
Word to hang. The following RTF produces more or less what I want (subject
to some experimentation) but first priority is that Word doesn't fall over
it. I have Word 2002 and it hangs when scrolling through the document with
the scroll bar (using middle wheel no problem!) Of course I have looked at
the RTF code produced by Word itself - but my aim is to produce what I want
as efficiently as possible. Any suggestions?

For anyone who might find this experience useful: the situation was resolved
by getting rid of all the paragraphs within a single cell - Word doesn't
like this - and instead having a separate row for each. (Via a tip picked up
at http://www.word.mvps.org)
