I am having and issue with migration from the RTM (out of the box) version to
the SP1 version. In this instance I am working with MSP 2007 Pro (Not with
Project Server).
Created With , RTM, Opened with, SP1, If write protected file will not open
Created With , RTM, Opened with, SP1, will not open read only
Created With , RTM, Opened with, SP1, If not protected it opens normal
Created With , SP1, Opened with, RTM, Opened with password - does not work
Created With , SP1, Opened with, RTM, Opened read only works
Created With , SP1, Opened with, RTM, If no password protection - opens fine
Password removal is a possible solution. At one office password removal
seems to work without a hitch. At the other office removing the password from
a "save as" dialog corrupts the file so it will no open in any environment.
Any way you slice it this is pretty ridiculous.
