Using Entourage '08, I have a pretty standard rule the moves an
incoming msg to another folder (within Exchange) if the criteria is
met. And since I read that mail from a couple of Macs in separate
locations, when both machines are running (which needs to happen), it
looks like the rule fires on each machine because I end up with two
messages in the "move to" folder. I'd really, really like to avoid
this and so would appreciate any suggestions.
TIA,
Chuck
P.S. One thought I had was instead the rule simply moving the msg,
call an Applescript that would use the msg's Category as a flag to
check and if that criteria is met, change the msg's Category and move
the msg. Question then is what variable ID's the msg and from there
what tells me it's folder? (Nothing in the Entourage Dictionary was
obvious to me.)
