All of our clients are running Outlook 2003 (11.6568.6568) SP2. Our server is
Windows 2003 with Exchange 2003. Users all use mailboxes on the server and
they don't use Outlook in cached mode.
One of our clients is attempting to setup a rule that is triggered when a
message arrives from someone in a "specified address book". We have our email
clients split into three different databases and have several different
address books setup via System Manager. Selecting this option automatically
selects the "on this machine only" option but I can't see why...our users are
"roamers". The action is to send a response to the sender from a template.
We've tested this rule several times and it simply doesn't work. It will work
fine if only selecting individuals from the main Outlook Address Book. Anyone
have any ideas or know of any testing diags for Outlook rules? Many thanks,
Adam
