Rule to copy sent mail sets unread mail flag

I have a folder that I keep all incoming and copies of outgoing mail that
pertain to certain groups. I have a rule that copies all outgoing mail to the
folder and another that copies all incoming messages to same. When the
outgoing messages are copied to the folder, they show as unread mail and I
must go to the folder and open the mail item to remove it from the unread
mail. I want that behavior for incoming messages, but would like to stop it
for sent messages.
