Ruler & Grid Issues

I've used Visio to flowchart for several years....no problem. Today,
something very strange is happening with my rulers/grids (not sure how much
each contributes to the problem).

When I open a file, it appears that nothing's there. When I look at Print
Preview, I see the contents of my file. When I close Print
Preview....nothing's there.

I don't remember how the rulers were set before (when things were working
right), so memory won't help here.

I want to open a file and see my file in the top, left corner of the window.
As I mentioned, I don't know if it's the ruler or the grid that's goofed up
(maybe both... or maybe Operator Error).

Please tell me how I can restore the ruler/grid to the way it was the first
time I used Visio, and, if possible, how I might have managed to mess it up.

Check the zoom level. It sounds to me that you have a very high zoom level set.
