Ruler or Grid Changes

B

Boyd

I have Visio 2007 and I have made some floor plans in the floor plan grid.
The plans are so small on the page. I cannot figure out how to change the
grid so that it is 98 x 140 but 40 x 70. There is so much to learn! Great app.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Boyd,

Sounds like you need to change the drawing scale. Look in File > Page Setup
Drawing Scale Tab

You probably have something like 1/4" = 1' - 0" (??)

Change it to 1/2" = 1' - 0" or 1" = 1' - 0" to get bigger shapes on your
drawing page.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Chris.
I tried but all the backgropund changed.
So I saved it and copied and pasted on a new page with the correct sittings,
the same as the printer page.
It worked great then.
I guess once I have created it in a different grid or ruler it can't be
adjusted.
I set it up for the same as the printer page.
I can only get one on a page.
I would like to get 2 floorplan drawings on a page.
We own rental property and we have 4 floor plans.
Basically 24 x 44.
I created them in the default of 98 x 140.
The drawings are too big for 2 on a page.
I can't resize the drawings after they have been grouped.

Thanks for the direction.
I needed to paste them on a 3/16 to 1.
8.5 x 11 page
Looks great.
