Ruler won't show inches

Hi all,

I have Word 2002, SP3. I can't get the ruler across the top to display in
inches. I'm not sure what it IS displaying in, though. (It displays "2, 6,
10, 12, 16, 20, 22, ...".

I've gone to "Tools > Options > General", and changed "Measurement units:"
to "Inches", but nothing changes. I've tried it when the ruler is showing,
and when it is hidden. I can't figure it out. If anybody could help, I'd
really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dan Solis

Try checking the regional settings in the control panel Make sure you
have it set for a region that has inches.

Thanks. I checked that, and it's set to the U.S., so that should be fine.
Any other possibilities?

Thanks,
Dan

OK This time I looked (Word XP) and it is under Tools - Options -
General - Measurement Units

Those regional settings can mess with a lot of things and over the years
I have found that it should be one of the first things checked when
something odd happens.
