Somehow the ruler on the current Word document has been changed to 7 x 9. When I look at the "Page Set Up" it shows 8.5 x 11. Any older document that I open opens with the ruler size altered. How do I change the ruler size on the opened document?

The ruler usually reflects the document margins, starting at the left/top.
So if you have 1" top and left margins, the 0" point on the ruler is
actually 1" from the top/left.
