Ruler

Hi,

I thought it was called a ruler, I could be wrong, I'm
using Word 2003 and I have what appears to be a ruler
along the top of the page. It continues to disappear, I
enabled Vertical Ruler so it would stay, but then I tried
it on another w/s and it had to effect. Can you tell me
how I can enbale it so it will always be there?

Hi Craig,

In Word's View menu be sure that
the 'ruler' choice is checked on.

Thanks Bob,
The Ruler is checked, the problem is everytime the user goes into a new
document she has to recheck it. It's not holding that parameter from doc to
doc.

Hi Craig,

If I recall its part of the Word settings in the registry.
You may want to export then zap the Word data/settings key,
assuming the user has the ability to write to the registry.
