Rules and personal distribution lists

Hello all!

I have a problem. I'm trying to create a rule which allows me to move all the mail I send to a specific distribution list to a folder.

I am getting the error

"XXXX" is a personal distribution list that may not be used with this feature. Would you like to use the individual members of "XXXX" instead?


Does anyone know how I can change this list from a personal distribution list to a distribution list I can use with this feature? Or have any other ideas? Basically all I need to do is keep the email communications with each distribution list in a folder so I can access them later.

Unless you're using an Exchange Server, you can't.

Or have any other ideas?

Built into Outlook? Nothing automatic. You can always manually change it
on a case by case basis in the sending options. I'm sure there's something
that could be built, and you may want to look at www.slipstick.com to see
if there's an add-on.
