Rules by email address..? Exchange?

I have an internal Exchange server (2003) and use Outlook 2003.
My account has 3 addresses and I want to use rules to sort the mail.

The problem is that apparently Exchange converts the smtp address to X.400
when it arrives and it loses the smtp address for filtering...at least that
is the only way I can figure why the filter doesn't work.

Is there a way to filter based on smtp email addresses or do I need multiple
email boxes for this?
