Rules changing themselves

I have several accounts set up in my Outlook 2002. One of
them gets mostly spam, so I've tried to set up a rule to
move all the stuff that comes in to that account to a
separate folder. The rules wizard appears to make this
quite easy. However, when I finish creating the rule it
changes itself so that instead of copying mail from the
intended account it copies it from the default account.
I've tried deleting and recreating, and also giving the
rule a new name, but nothing works. Any suggestions that
will help me stop swearing at my computer will be very
welcome.
