I would like to be able to filter my incoming e-mail messages by the sender's
address. I have done this the hard way for now but it is quickly becoming
cumbersome when having to reinstall Outlook 2007. I have well over 50 rules
and I am sure some are duplicated. What I would like to do is this:
1. Get the e-mail address of the sender as the message arrives or is
selected for reading.
2. Use this e-mail address to create a folder where further mail from that
sender will be stored.
3. Ideally, I would like a dialog box to pop up with each new e-mail address
so a way to tell what has been created and hasn't would be nice.
4. The dialog box would allow me to enter a name for the Rule and a name for
the folder and if that folder already exists be able to choose that folder, a
Browse function.
As I wrote all of that I realized that an easier way to say it would be to
say an automatic version of the Rules Wizard that is currently in Outlook
2007. I don't want to have to continuously go through each mail and keep
creating rules and folders, it is way too time consuming. There would still
be a bit of time consuming on the first run of the software but after that it
would be much easier.
