Rules for forwarding stop working

Recently I noticed that rules for forwarding or sending
email to selected folders stop working. The rules are
setup on the server side and it seems like a hit or miss
thing when this happens. Basically we reconfigure the
rules again and they work...at least for a while and then
stop working again. We are running Exchange 2000 and
Outlook 2000. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
