Setup: XP Pro SP2 client, NT server 4.0 running Exchange 5.5. Problem:
On the client, I created 3 rules via Rules Wizard several months ago. These
rules are client-only. They've operated fine until now. All of a sudden in
Outlook, a error window pops up that says "Rules in Error, You do not have
sufficient permission to perform this operation." I am the Admin here and I
have made no changes to the Exchange server or the PC. The first error was
with a rule for Latin characters. I deleted it, and recreated with a
different name. Now, a different rule is giving the same error. I'm
thinking that these errors are occurring when a message comes in that one of
the 3 rules processes so eventually all 3 will get errors. Where should I
look to determine the problem? Should I delete them all and recreate them?
That's my last resort. Is the Rules tool corrupt? How can it be fixed?
Thanks, Diane
