"Rules in error" when opening Outlook

I have someone who is getting a "rules in error" message when opening
Outlook 2002 (Exchange 2003). The rule is "Server-Requested Client Action."
The error is "MoveCopy, Unable to create dest. msg."

But the person does not have any rules created in Outlook.

Any suggestions?

Robert,

I deleted all of my rules so that I may figure out which rule is which. But
even after deleting all (6) of the rules, there are still items (6) in the
Associated Messages in Fld. I am assuming one of them is the built-in out
of office assistant rule, and I don't want to mess it up. Is there any
danger if I did delete the OOO rule?

Mdbvu32 looks like a very good tool.

Sorry on the delay in getting back, if you double click the Associated
Message in FLD you should be able to work out what Rule is doing what, I
haven't got a 2002 client to test against as yet and I tested against
Outlook 2003 and successfully deleted the 2 test messages I had set up, this
left me with 4 Associated messages on Folder but no obvious OOF Rule. Give
me some time and I will set up a 2002 client and test against this.

What is MSFT:TDX OOF Rules? This one looks like a keeper. I haven't tried
removing this one.

can be removed

I removed the rules from Inbox and all other default folders. I am still
getting the same error "MoveCopy, Unable to create dest. msg."

Any other suggestions? Of course, I could always delete and recreate the
mailbox, but I am looking for ways so that I don't have to do so.

The Exmerge utility does a similar job to Mdbvu32 and it will also help if
you have to wipe the mailbox, more information here
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=262482. If this doesn't help then you may
need to 21 gun salute the mailbox
