Hi all,
I have searched the archive here and at Microsoft site, and I have seen a
lot of discussion on this topic, but not the definite answer on my question.
I upgraded to outlook 2002 from Outlook express on a XP machine. I installed
SP1, SP2 and a update just for outlook 2002 in date of early 2003. I have
only one profile.
I have an hotmail account. I understand I cannot use rules directly in the
hotmail inbox. Under OE, I used to copy the mails into a pst folder and run
the rules there (mostly to sort incoming mail into appropriate folders).
With Outlook 2002, when I'm in the pst folder I created, nothing happens
when I hit the tool-rule wizard. I seem to be able to create rules using the
"organize" button, and apply them, but I don't know where they are stored,
and how I can run them after I copy incoming mail into the pst folder.
If it's not plain possible, is there an alternative solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
sg
