Rules Questions/SPAM

I have some questions about rules that i have put together
to handle spam


Take for example the following rule

Apply this rule after message arives
with 'Viagra' in the subject
forward it to 'SPAM'
and move it to the Deleted Items Folder


My question is this am I safe if there is a virus or
something else in the email?

In the deleted folder the message that meet the above rule
show the opened mail icon, was this really opened?

If so I could possibly risk infection by this rule?

This seems to be the same if I use forward as a attachment
instead of just a plan forward.

Any one got any comments?
