Rules Stopped Working

Okay, I browsed through all the "rules not working" entries, and tried all of
the tips I saw, but...

About a week ago, my rules stopped working. They worked fine for YEARS
before that. Suddenly, Outlook no longer runs my rules. Most of them are of
the "move this email from this person to this other folder and let me know
about it" variety, and they all have "stop processing more rules" turned on.
I automatically move all my email from the server to personal folders on my
local drive, then process the rules to see if I need to do anything else with
the new messages. My machine is running Outlook 2003 SP2.

I checked the basic stuff (such as are the rules actually turned on? - Yes),
and have tried random changes, restarting Outlook, rebooting the winbox, but
they won't start working again.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

Well, I would start with the basics. Export all the rules, remove them all
and create a single rule that you can easily test by sending yourself a message
and seeing if that works. If it does, then you know Outlook itself is functioning
fine. Re-import all the rules and focus on the first one in the list and
try and figure out if it might be preventing the other rules from firing.
Try creating a new one with all the other rules and testing it that way.

How are you moving mail from the server? What type of server?
