Alright
I havea very troublesome problem wih Outlook XP clients. We have recently
converted our domain from System Policy to Group Policy, and users that are
members of the Group Policy cannot create the rule: Have server reply using
specific message
What happens is, they go through the rule, select "where my name is in the
To box" then check the "have server reply using specific message" click on
the message and a new message box appears. They write what they want in the
message, but when they save and close it come up with the error:
You do not have the appropriate permissions to perform this action
The annoying thing is, is that all of our NT clients, still running System
Policy can do this - but i have not specificied anything in the new policy
that would stop this happening
My question is two fold:
1) Could someone explain the process of how this rule works - i.e. where is
this mail message stored - is it in their profile / mailbox etc - and how
does exchange process it?
2) Can anyone see something i havent done? All of you Citrix Clients can log
into Outlook under the same Group Policy running Outlook 2000, and set this
rule OK
Cheers
