Using Outlook 2002 (10.4712.4219) SP-2.
I can go to the Rules Wizzard (via Tools menue) and set
up rules to look for specific word(s) in the Header or
Subject line and send any such emails to the delete
folder. However, Outlook does not seem to use these
rules for incoming email. (Ex. Send email that
has 'SPAM' in the subject line to the delete folder.) It
does not matter what rule I create, the incoming mail
still shows up in my Inbox. I suspect something that has
t do with the 'Run Now' option. I also read on a
Microsoft site that the 'Move to another Folder' is not
the default in Outlook. How do you make it such for the
rules you create? Are there switches I am overlooking?
Thanks for any advice.
