Rules you can apply to your mailbox?

We are starting to work with group mailboxes and I want to establish rules
for messages that come in to the mailbox so that they are sent to specific
projects. Is there a limit on how many rules that can be created and applied
to a mailbox?

That client-side solution wouldn't apply to Tgreene's situation, because they need server-based rules that can run without Outlook.

The limit is 32k in versions before Outlook 2007/Exchange 2007.
