I can't receive e-mails from documents I've created in word. When I
Close. If in Outlook 2007 I get e-mail from sources I don't care to
receive from, I usually create a rule and try to block them. I
permanently delete them and was told by my internet provider Shentel
to forward them to their "unblocked mail" box. This works well and I
recieve less spam. But when I send my word documents to myself they
will appear in the outbox as being sent. Then if I send/receive they
will go directly to my outbox and get forwarded to the "unblocked
mail" of my provider as though I've created a rule for my own adress.
I checked all my blocked senders and I'm not in there anywhere. I've
disabled my antivirus and minimized my junk mail security and it still
does this. The only thing I can figure is that I was using windows
2003 and Outlook Express prevous to this and had issues with spammers
and my name so I inadvertently set myself up then. But, I upgraded
Windows to 2007 a while back and I've since had issues with Windows
crashing so I had to purchase another hard drive and reinstall Windows
and outlook 2007. The old hard drive is still there as a slave so I
can access some of the old files and bring them over if I need them. I
still have the old Outlook Express but no identities or accounts are
set up and so i'ts not running. I'm thinking I need to just dump
Outlook Express out of the system and see if that works. Thanks for
your interest and reply.
So, you send yourself an email with a word doc.
It gets autoforwarded to this 'unblocked mail' address.
Correct?
Ok, I still go back to my question:
What happens if you mail yourself *without* sending an attachment?
Because if the same thing happens there, then that's something we can ignore,
the whole attachment issue.
Do you have *any* rules defined?
Does your ISP have a web based mail reader?
