Run Blocked Attachment

Whenever I try to run a shortcut link which I inserted in the note area of a
Task item or an Appointment item , I receive an Attachment Security Warning.
Is there any way to run it directly without saving it? I've already
unblocked the filetype through Level1Remove in the registry. Still, directly
running a shortcut link in the attachment won't be allowed. Please help.
