I have some scheduling software that allows me to run an Access macro on a
time schedule. I do this by dragging the macro to a network location to
create a shortcut to the macro (.mam file) and then drag that shortcut to
the scheduling software.
Problem I run into is that if I have as the last step in the macro a quit
command, I get an error after it runs saying it cant find the .mam shortcut
file. This happens even if I don't use the scheduling software and just run
via a double click from Explorer. If I remove the quit, it runs fine and
leaves db open. It must have something to do with trying to close while
still running the shortcut or something. Anybody run into this problem in
the past and can offer some help?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
