Run report from another database (link)

Does anyone know a way (vb?) to run a report from one
database where the actual report and underlying
query/tables reside in another database?

I see MsAccess will let me import the report from another
db. but when I run the report, I get the error: The record
source specified on this form or report does not exist. Or
if i import the query then i get the error: The microsoft
database jet engine cannot find the input table or query...

I don't want to import or link the tables because there
are many and their relationships are complex.

Hi Becky,

I've never had to do this myself, but the code here
http://www.mvps.org/access/reports/rpt0012.htm should do the job. It's
for Access 97 but ought to work in later versions.
