run-time error '91

I am running Word 2003. I just downloaded the most recent updates and still
everytime I close the Word program, it comes up and says "run-time error
'91". Then the only options I have are "End" or "Help". The "help" that it
provides does not apply as far as I can tell. It has done this everytime
I've logged off Word since installing it.

particularly the last section ("If you get an error message as soon as
Word opens..."). The troubleshooting steps are the same for problems
closing Word as for opening it.
