Run time error

I got a run time error. Don't know what type. Microsoft
frontpage 2002 shut down totally instantly and I lost the
file.
Is there any way to recover it?
Is there any way to prevent this in the future?

Recover the web page or FP?

I believe JimCo Addins http://www.jimcoaddins.com has a add-in to do
interval saves.
