Run Time Version Of Access

I heard the Run Time Version of Access is free, is this
true, and if so, how do I get a copy?

We pay for a set number of stations to have the full
version of Access, however I would like for a hundred plus
call center employees to be able to use forms and other
such applications that would interact with my database.

No, it's not free (never has been). To get it, you need to purchase the
Developer edition of Office. Of course, now that Office 2003 has just been
released, it may be difficult to obtain any version: Microsoft typically
withdraws prior versions from circulation once a new version is released,
and I don't believe the Access 2003 runtime has been released yet.

Hi,

It's free in the sense that you can distribute your
application royalty free. You do have to purchase the
Office Developer, but if your rolling out to a hundred
plus employees, and they don't need to create custom
reports, queries, ect. - it will save you a ton of
money.
