Running a JSp/servelt on Linux to access an mdb.

I am porting a JSP/servlet application from Windows to Linux. On Windows I
linked the mdb to the Java JDBCODBC driver using the ODBC data source
administrator. Can something similar be done on Linux to externally link the
mdb to the Java program? If not, what other options are there.
