I wrote a macro in Outlook XP to import a table from Access to Outlook. It works properly. A company needs this macro but they have Office 97. I had a look at outlook 97. It seems we can not write a macro in outlook 97! Which is so sad!!
Is there any possibility to run a macro in outlook 97? I appriciate any idea about this matter before the company changes the idea about buying my macro
Thank you very much for your attention
Wish you good time

There are no macros in Outlook 97/98.
However, there is an Outlook type library so you could automate Outlook for
other apps, e.g., from Word or Access.

However, this will work only if your macro uses only features of Outlook
supported in the Outlook 8 type library.

Otherwise, you could suggest to the company that it may be time that they
upgrade to a more recent version of Office, if only to allow the use of VBA
6 and macros in more Office apps.
