Running Access 2000 database on runtime 2007

Hi,

we currently have a old access 2000 database, where users just fill some data
in. This database will be replaced at the end of this year.

But we want to switch from Office 2000 to 2007 now. Because no one uses Access
except for filling data into this old DB, we think about buying an Office
version with access and try running the old DB during it's last days with the
Access Runtime.

I downloaded Access Runtime 2007. When I open the database, I get a security
notice. But when I click OK to open it anyway, I just get the blank blue
background screen.

What do I have to do get a form up?

Regards
Marc

You can't do any work in the runtime. You have to have an mdb to run.

I know that I can't make changes to the database design itself with the
runtime. But it seams that I have to do some changes to the mdb, before the
users can use it with the runtime. The question is just what I have to do.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been out of town.
I do not know the answer to your question. I have not worked with 2007 yet.
