Running both 2004 and 2008 together?

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

Is it possible to have both 2004 (for VBA) and 2008 (for new features) installed and available at the same time?
Any help would be appreciated.

It is. The only thing that ought to be avoided is running both versions of
Entourage at the same time, as this can cause a number of problems. Apart
from that, there's absolutely no harm in keeping both Office 2004 and 2008
on the same hard disk.

Check for duplicate Microsoft Database daemon in Startup Items. If you have
more than one delete all and Entourage will create a new one.
