Running Number

I have try using Visio Professional 2003 Trail, i have doing a Form Design.
i put a one text box on top right, this text box name it as Serial No. value
is empty
How i going to generate a running number when i print out like first page is
10001, second page is 10002, thrid page is 10003, and so on until serial no
10100,
that mean 100 pages is print out.
Can i be done to my form design in Visio.

Insert > Field sounds like it might work. If your pages are numbered 10001,
10002, etc. you can just chose the page name for the field. Another
alternative is to use regular text for "100" and then add a field with the
page number to complete the value.

Hi Mark Nelson

for you info about the page number, i have try add already, it seen working,
but i only got one page, so when i try print out about 26 copy, the number
still start from 1 on page header, because is one page.

another way is to copy and paste to second page, third page, and so on, that
mean i can have 1 to N page number be print out, becuase i have N page.

do u have another way, like writing macros, so only 1 page, and print copy
about 10 pages, will come out generate no 1 to 10.
