Running Office 2002 English and localized 2003 together?

(Sorry for reposting this, but somehow it got into the wrong thread the
first time)

I'm going to get forced to have Office 2003 (localized German) on my
office machine, but I have a lot of Outlook add-ins and other utilities
that version 2003 breaks, and some don't work at all with localized
versions. So I want to keep at least Outlook in version 2002.

According to MS's knowledge base, you can install all Versions from 97 to
2003 on the same machine, as long as you stick to the chronological order.
But I couldn't find anything about different language versions.

Can anybody tell me if that works (reliably), and how?

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

Prior to the 2007 editions of Office (which has no native language, but add on packs for all languages, including English) it's not
advisable to run multiple language editions of Office on the same boot partition in Windows. Some of the file names are identical
in each version but have different content.

Thanks Bob,

bad news, unfortunately, and actually I did miss the part in the MSKB
article that says that the multi-version office install is *not* possible
for Outlook, whose earlier versions will be removed.
