Running Office XP

I have the XP version of office and I have installed it
onto my computer. Every time that I try to open an
office file (Excel or Word) it opens, and then gives me
an error message. "A runtime error as occured, do you
wish to debug". If I press no, word freezes up and
doesn't respond. If I press yes, then it tries to go into
the debugging wizard.

I purchased this Office, and I love office, but I CANNOT
USE IT! HELP

I had a problem similar to this a while back. I had to reload the office
with my Norton turned off. Turned Norton back on again and all worked well.
