Running Office2000 on XP home guest account

How can I use Office2000 on the guest account of a windows XP home system?

Office works fine on the main administrator account. I had problems with a
non admisistrator second account - windows installer kept running and
closing with error 1706 - no valid source. I solved this by setting the
second account to administrator, letting the installer run (it found a valid
source) and then swithing the account back to normal user status and it now
works (but what a painful process to go through!)

Now I can't use Office on the Guest account - installer keeps running and
getting error 1706. How can I solve this? I have already tried editing the
registry as per KB265194 to insert UILanguage,HelpLanguage & InstallLanguage
keys but that did not do it. Lots of KB articles says Office is designed to
sun a first time used routine for each user after it is installed but nobody
tells you what to do if the user does not have rights to install.

Is there a way to start the installer using an "install using diferent user"
command?
Is there a backdoor to set the Guest to administrator status?
Can I copy any application data files from the accounts that do work to the
guest account?

Please help.
