Running Powerpoint with other windows open

I was wonder if it was possible to run a PowerPoint Presentation and use
another window at the same time. I need to run the slide show and get into
Excel, Outlook, and Word all while the presentation is going. When I set it
up the Presentation will be on the screen, it just stops the animation and
doesn't continue on like it is suppose to. I am using to monitors so I don't
see the problem. My question is can I open other windows while the
presentation is going with transitions, animations, and timings wihtout a
hitch?

PowerPoint can't do this natively, but there is a commercial add-in
available:
