Running report if parameter is left empty

I have a report that pulls invoice information. I would
like to have my users run it either by the customer name
or a date range. I have the date range parameter set up,
running fine. I can add the other parameter for the
customer, but if I don't know the customer and just want
to run it for the date range, I bring back no data. How do
I tell it that if either parameter is null, to run with
what it has?
