Running scripts across multiple files

We need to extract data from multiple MS Project 2003 files (e.g. milestones)
and create a report. Is there an automatic way to do this (i.e. open
file/filter/extract/close)?

Well yeah, but there might be an easier approach. Have you tried
creating a consolidated master file, (Insert/Project), filtering on
milestones and then printing or saving as a custom filtered view? No VBA
required.
