running sum in report with a previous month total and current mon.

I have cumulative receive for previous month i.e Cum Recv---- 5500 ----
30/06/2008

Now I'd like to do running sum of current month every dates data with 5500

as Like bellow;
Cement -------Daily recv---- 5500 ----- 30/06/2008
cement-------- 500 ---------6000 ------02/07/2008
cement-------- 300 ---------6300 ------03/07/2008
cement-------- 500 ---------6800 ------08/07/2008
cement-------- 400 ---------7200 ------02/07/2008

Here previous month cum recv will be picked up from another table.

Pls help me out. I'll be very happy for any help from the geniouses. Thanx
to all geniouses in advance for their taking time to help me.
