I have a report that pulls all of it's data from a query from multiple
tables. The report itself works beautifully with the running sum appearing
correctly on the preview. When I go to print it, the running sum is skewed. I
am using the on print option which from what I now understand is unreliable.
What I am trying to do is take a Beginning AR balance and subtract daily
entries (which are grouped by date). I have tried and tried using the
runningsum options and they do not seem to work properly for me. It always
wants to add the beginning balance again at each group change.I'm not exactly
sure what I am doing wrong.
Also along these same lines, how do I then make the ending AR balance the
next month's beginning balance? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
