I reciently bought a tablet PC and am relearning some of the ways I use
office to take advantage of it's features. I used to type-up an outline for a
presentation in word and print it out. I have discovered that using Word in
reader mode with my tablet in tablet mode is the equivilant of digital paper,
being very easy to flip through the various pages. Here is my problem:
The laptop in question is also the one used to run the powerpoint for the
presentation. I cannot figure out how to advance the slides while Word is in
reader mode. I guess I could use the pen to manually switch between
applications, but that creates a lot of digital fumbling while in the midst
of the presentation.
The best thing would be if word would stay in reader mode and there was some
floating window with a forward and back button for the PPT (like a digital
version of a projector remote control). Even better would be a combo Word
reader mode / PPT presenter view.
I know I can put notes into the PPT to be seen in presenter view, but I like
the customizability of an outline in Word. I would appreciate any suggestions
of how to get these two thing to function at the same time.
