Running Word from Hard Disk

MS Office 2000 SR-1 Small Business was installed on my
Dell Dimension 4100 computer (Pentium III, 233mz)by the
factory. (Running Windows ME) Something happened (?) and
now I cannot run Word from the harddrive but it will run
okay when I leave the CD in the DVD Drive (D Drive) just
slower. Seems, maybe by coincidence, to have gone bad
when I tried to download a new virus detection program
that did not work then deleted all of the files; possibly
deleted a file that helped to run Word from the harddisk.
The error message that I receive when I try to load Word
from the harddisk is: " ! (in a yellow triangle) Winword
has caused an error in VBE6.DLL. Winword will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting
your computer (which doesn't help) Close (in a Box) Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks............Ken
