Hi, I have a question about running Word in Windows safe mode. Not
Word/Office safe mode, but Windows safe mode. A friend of mine is having
major computer problems and the only way he can get into Windows XP is using
safe mode. He has a very important document with a time sensitive deadline
that he needs to work on. I guess my question is this: is this a bad thing
to do from the standpoint of possible document corruption? We’re not sure
what is causing his computer problems, so I suppose it might not be the best
thing to work on an important document, especially when it seems as though
his hard drive might be failing, but does anyone know if working on a
document in Word in Windows safe mode in and of itself could lead to document
corruption? Thanks in advance for any information.
