Runs slower with upgrade W2000/O2000 to XP/O2003, esp after O2003

I upgraded Windows 2000 to XP, then Office 2000 to Office 2003. Ran well
with XP upgrade, then internet slowed noticibly upon Offoce 2003 upgrade.
Believe opening apps such as Word slowed with upgrade to Office 2003, as Word
opened quickly, etc., when it was XP running Office 2000. Not as happy as I
expected.
